Rick Olivier is a photographer in New Orleans who shoots people, famous and not-so-famous.  His clients say he’s easy to work with and makes the work fun.  He did a book on Zydeco music with author Ben Sandmel that won some awards, including the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities “Book of the Year” in 1999.  He’s best known for his music photography and has shot 100+ (and-counting) album/CD covers.  His portrait photographs have been on the cover of the New York Times Magazine twice.  You can see all this and more at his website: www.rickolivier.com
